Expert Teacher

Maria Montessori (1870–1952) was an Italian physician, educator, and the founder of the Montessori method of education. She became one of the first female doctors in Italy and began her work with children who had special needs. Montessori believed that children learn best through hands-on experiences, independence, and freedom within a structured environment. In 1907, she opened the first Casa dei Bambini in Rome, where she developed learning materials and techniques based on observation and respect for each child’s natural development. Her ideas spread worldwide, transforming education and inspiring schools that continue to support confident, curious, and responsible learners.
